Friend tells of Michael’s secret side

THE choreographer behind some of Michael Jackson’s hottest dance moves has spoken of the surprising hidden side of the star.

Jeffrey Daniel, who invented the famous Smooth Criminal lean, said: “There was a real fun side to Michael that people wouldn’t see.

“He loved to dance, sometimes we’d just dance together for she sheer joy of it. But we had fun in a lot of other ways too. You could throw him in a swimming pool and he’d get out dripping wet and chase you, you know, going ‘I’ll get you’, stuff like that.

“But this was a side he could never show in public. He came out so strongly with the Jackson Five, singing like an adult, and he had so much responsibility.”

Speaking ahead of his Cardiff dance masterclass on Thursday at Fahrenheit Dance Studios, the former Shalamar dancer also slammed new Jackson documentary flick This Is It.

“Michael always had those cameras rolling when he was rehearsing, so he could watch them back and improve.

“But they were really for him. I feel for his record company to use them to recoup money they might have lost when he passed [away] is perhaps a little insensitive.”
